TCAF and Joe Shuster Award nominations!

My brother Shaggy and I had an absolutely fantastic time at TCAF (Toronto Comic Arts Festival) last weekend- definitely one of the most fun, successful and inspiring conventions we've exhibited at yet! And I'd like to give HUGE THANKS to our little sister Hesbell and friend Adriana Blake for being amazing booth buddies.

We are also super excited to announce that Silly Kingdom is up for TWO nominations in the 2012 Joe Shuster Awards!!! We've been nominated for the Gene Day award for self publishing and the Dragon Award for Kids Comics (and are the only self published title in that category). We're absolutely honored to be up for consideration amongst so many amazing titles, thank you!!

Mega thanks to everyone who came by TCAF and the after parties to say hello, hang out and pick up copies of our book. TCAF wouldn't have been nearly as much fun without you guys and Shaggy and I are ever grateful for your awesome support (and all around awesomeness).
